Georgia Retreader Makes the Move to ContiLifeCycle
Fort Mill, South Carolina, April 12, 2013. Forest Park, Ga. based retreader and commercial truck tire dealer Hill Tire Co. has become the latest licensee of Continental Tire the Americas, LLC’s ContiTreads™.
Continental said today that Hill Tire Co. has begun retreading truck tires with ContiTread brand flat precure treads at its facilities in Forest Park and Valdosta, Ga. The Forest Park retread facility, near company headquarters, is approximately 45,000 square feet and employs 45. The 15,000 square-foot facility in Valdosta has 15 employees. These two locations combined can produce more than 110,000 retreads annually.

ContiLifeCycle Reaches West Coast with Rovince
Continental Tire the Americas, LLC’s (“Continental”) Commercial Vehicle Tire Business Unit has expanded its ContiLifeCycle footprint to the west coast with a new licensee. The company reports today that Rovince International Corp. in Compton, Calif. is the latest retreader to adopt the ContiLifeCycle process.
With 25 years experience in retreading, Rovince International decided in mid-2012 that the ContiLifeCycle was the perfect complement to its business lines, said company president Lionel Perera. Conti Details 2013 Outlook for Retreading Expansion
Finishing out 2012 with significant growth in the Americas retreading market, Continental Tire the Americas, LLC’s (“Continental”) Commercial Vehicle Tire Business Unit today detailed some of its plans for expansion of the ContiLifeCycle retreading solution in the region.
According to executive vice president Paul Williams, the ContiLifeCycle concept continued to experience high growth in the region throughout 2012, with additional expansion planned throughout 2013. “The demand for our ContiLifeCycle retreading solution, and our ContiTread flat precure treads, has grown dramatically. In response, we have added 18,000 square feet to our tread manufacturing plant in Mexico in June. The addition of a complete new line of equipment including a new double press, extruder and finishing will be complete in first quarter 2013,” Williams said.…

ContiLifeCycle Expands into Pennsylvania with Bergey‘s
Long-time Continental and General truck tire dealer Bergey’s Tire, headquartered in Souderton, Pa., is announcing the expansion of their product offering with a retreading solution from Continental Tire the Americas, LLC’s (“Continental”) Commercial Vehicle Tire Business Unit.
With operations beginning in June 2012, Bergey’s has adopted the ContiLifeCycle retreading process and is now offering ContiTread brand retreaded truck tires to their customers from their six commercial locations throughout eastern Pennsylvania and southern New Jersey. Duane Bergey, vice president of Bergey’s tire division, said that the retreading facility in Sellersville, Pa. can produce up to 400 retreaded truck tires daily…
